SHERMAN, TX - If you're one of the many with your house on the market, waiting for it to sell, the National Association of Realtors has some good news.
They say home sales are up, rising for the 3rd month in a row.
They say it's a sure sign the national housing market is starting to recover.
Record low mortgage interest rates are giving buyers more confidence to purchase homes.
Local realtor, Beverly Stein, says this is especially true in Texoma.

"Since December, we've had a couple of listings that have gone on the market that have sold within 48 hours of going on the market, and I believe that shows that there's some buyers that are ready to move forward and also sellers that are ready to sell." said Stein.
Stein says to give your home a better chance at selling make any necessary small repairs, and make sure it's clean and ready to show.
